Week 35

Happy May! Hard to believe that we only have one and a half weeks left of school! This school year has flown by! 

Thank you to all the moms that joined us on Monday to celebrate Muffins and Makeovers with Mom! We had so much fun celebrating you all! On Tuesday, we made noodle necklaces as our letter Nn day on our countdown. On Wednesday, we dodged the rain drops in the morning and spent some extra time outside to celebrate our letter Oo day in our countdown. On Thursday, we had our picnic lunch in the Prayer Garden. We had our popsicles that Mr. Veit got us for winning the Penny War during St. Patrick's Day week! On Friday, we took a walk to the Governor's garden in our fancy outfits!

Important Dates in May:

• Early out on Tuesday, May 13th at 1:15 PM. There will be no after school care. 
• Praise assembly on Wednesday, May 14th. 
• Summer Blast off will be Thursday, May 15th in the morning. I will be sending out an email next week with all the information about Summer Blast Off so keep an eye on your email! 
• The last day of school will be Thursday, May 15th.  

Alphabet Countdown begins
May 5th - Runge Nature Center will visit us- I sent home a flyer with information on purchasing a CD from Wild at Heart if you would like one the money and flyer are due on May 5th.
May 6th - Sunglasses and Scientists
May 7th - Teddy Bears and Tie Dye
May 8th - USA Day (wear all things Red, White, and Blue)
May 9th - Video day (movie party)
May 12th - Wacky Hair day
May 13th - eXtra Recess 
May 14th - Year-end Party
May 15th - Zooming in to Summer Break (Summer Blast off Day)

Week 34

 I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter! It was good to see all my smiley faces again this week! 

This week we worked on the letter Qq. On Wednesday, I worked with the kiddos on tracing their names with their fingers while identifying the letters of their name, tracing the letters with a pencil and working on staying inside the lines when coloring. In the afternoon, we spent the beautiful day outside drawing with chalk! On Thursday, the kiddos made their names out of ice cream scoops! That afternoon, we took a walk to Yoyums to celebrate the hard work these little ones have put into learning this year! On Friday, In P.E. we played baseball! In the afternoon, we made the muffins to get ready for Muffins with Mom on Monday! We are looking forward to seeing all the Moms on Monday for a very special morning! Enjoy the photos from the week!
