This week our theme was Outer space. We focused on the letter Oo, the number 2, the shape of a star and the color black. On Tuesday, we read "Planets" and talked about all of the planets in our solar system. During center time, we made out O is for orange page for our ABC book. We also caught up and did our V is for Valentine's day as we missed that page last week. On Wednesday, we read "Planet Name Game". We talked about Ash Wednesday and even attended the Ash Wednesday mass. They all did a great job in church! I was very proud of them! We colored a picture that described what we saw at mass in the morning! On Thursday, we read "Shoot for the Moon, Snoopy!". During center time, we made rockets with the letters of their names making the rocket body! On Friday, we read "The Solar System". We had P.E. Friday where we played a hula hoop racing game and musical hula hoops. We wrapped up P.E. Friday with free play and a dance party! We watched an episode of Blippi that talked all about the different planets. I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend and I will see you all on Monday for another great week!
