It is hard to believe that it is the final week of April and we are getting so close to the end of the school year. This week our theme was zoo! We learned the letter Zz! This week was a fun one! On Monday, we read "The View at the Zoo". We did our bingo paint dobber Z during center time. We spent the day watching the polar bear from the St. Louis Zoo on the smart board. On Tuesday, we read "Curious George Visits the Zoo". During center time we made lions by painting with a fork around his mane. We really focused on making a pattern with the two colors that they chose. These turned out so great! We watched the Grizzly bear enclosure throughout the day. On Wednesday, we read "Animal Strike eat the Zoo". We got to watch the seal enclosure at the St. Louis Zoo live throughout the day! On Thursday, we read "Never, Ever Shout in a Zoo". During center time, we made zebra puppets. We watched the jaguar encounter at the Milwaukee County Zoo! On Friday, we read "The Wheels on the Bus: A Read-along Sing-along Trip to the Zoo". During center time, we got the play doh out! We watched the polar bear at the St. Louis Zoo and the jaguar at the Milwaukee County Zoo. It was such a fun zoo week and learning new animal fun facts. - Morning with Mom is Friday, May 6th in the Selinger Gym.
- Early out on Tuesday, May 10th. There will be no after care.
- Summer Blastoff is on Thursday, May 19th.
- The last day of school is Friday, May 20th. There will be an 11:30 dismissal and no after care!
