Happy February everyone! I feel like that means Spring is right around the corner and the nicer weather this week was a nice preview of more to come hopefully! This week we learned all about the letter Gg. On Monday, we worked on identifying the capital letter of their names and learning to trace it while making sure we had the proper grip for our marker. On Tuesday, we celebrated the 100th day of preschool by making some crowns to wear! On Wednesday, we worked on our new name puzzles that will stay at school! I am working with each kiddo in identifying the letters in their name and the correct order that they belong in! On Thursday, we worked on sharing and taking turns with our toys! On Friday, we had Fun Friday and played all sorts of games! I hope everyone has a great weekend! I will see you all on Tuesday! Go Chiefs!
Thursday and Friday, I sent home directions and activities in case of an AMI day. This is optional for preschool but we just wanted to give you some activities to help keep your little one entertained!
Important dates in February:
- No school on Monday, February 10th.
- There is an early out on Tuesday, February 11th with a 1:15 PM dismissal. There will be no after school care on that day.
- Our Valentine's Day party will be on Friday, February 14th. I sent out an email later with a sign up for party snacks and supplies. We are still looking for a couple of slots to be filled. - No school on Monday, February 17th.
- Braided bread fundraiser begins Friday, February 21st.
- Scholastic orders are due by Friday, February 21st.
