Week 26

I hope everyone had a good couple of snow days and stayed safe and warm. On Thursday, we combined with Miss Jay's friends and got to spend the day playing with them! On Friday, we had P.E. in the morning where we did our obstacle course and got a chance to free play as a preschool! Sorry I did not get any photos this week! With it being a short day on Thursday and helping cover classes I was unable to get any photos! I hope everyone has a great weekend! Looking forward to a whole week with warmer temperatures next week! :) See you all on Monday! 

Important dates in February and March:

• Parent lunch A-K will be on Tuesday, February 25th if you have signed up to join us!
• Big Bucks is Friday, February 28th. 
• There is a 1:15 PM dismissal on Friday, February 28th. There will be no after school care. 
• Parent lunch reservations for L-R are due to Mrs. Debbie by Monday, March 3rd. 
• Braided bread fundraiser ends on Thursday, March 6th. 
• I will be gone for a conference on Thursday, March 6th. 
• There will be no school on Friday, March 7th. 
• Shorts will be allowed again starting Monday, March 10th. 
• There will be a 1:15 PM dismissal on Tuesday, March 11th. 
• Parent lunch day for L-R will be on Wednesday, March 12th. 
• St. Patrick's Day party will be on Monday, March 17th. There will be more information on this the closer we get to March! :)
• There will be no school on Friday, March 21st.
• There will be no school on Monday, March 24th. 

Week 25

This week we focused on the letter Hh. On Tuesday, we began working on the letter Hh and finding some words that begin with the letter Hh. I hope everyone stayed warm and safe on Wednesday for our snow day! On Thursday, we added more words to our letter Hh words list. During center time, I worked one on one with each kiddo on the letters in their name, both identifying them and placing them in the correct order. Friday, we celebrated Valentine's Day all day long! We played games in the morning and had a special snack in the afternoon! I hope everyone has a great weekend! I will see you all on Tuesday! Enjoy the photos!

Week 24

Happy February everyone! I feel like that means Spring is right around the corner and the nicer weather this week was a nice preview of more to come hopefully! This week we learned all about the letter Gg. On Monday, we worked on identifying the capital letter of their names and learning to trace it while making sure we had the proper grip for our marker. On Tuesday, we celebrated the 100th day of preschool by making some crowns to wear! On Wednesday, we worked on our new name puzzles that will stay at school! I am working with each kiddo in identifying the letters in their name and the correct order that they belong in! On Thursday, we worked on sharing and taking turns with our toys! On Friday, we had Fun Friday and played all sorts of games! I hope everyone has a great weekend! I will see you all on Tuesday! Go Chiefs! 

Thursday and Friday, I sent home directions and activities in case of an AMI day. This is optional for preschool but we just wanted to give you some activities to help keep your little one entertained! 

Important dates in February:

• No school on Monday, February 10th. 
• There is an early out on Tuesday, February 11th with a 1:15 PM dismissal. There will be no after school care on that day. 
• Our Valentine's Day party will be on Friday, February 14th. I sent out an email later with a sign up for party snacks and supplies. We are still looking for a couple of slots to be filled.
