Week 3

This week we started learning all of our colors! On Monday, we learned red and made a whole list of things that we know that are the color red. On Tuesday, we learned the color orange. On Wednesday, we learned the color yellow. We also had our first tornado drill of the school year. I am so proud of how well the kiddos did with this. On Thursday, we learned the color green. We smiled really big for picture day! We celebrated Fun Friday! We had P.E. and our first praise assembly of the school year. 

 Important Dates in September

• No school on Monday, September 1st. 
• Parent lunch day for students with last name A-E is on Wednesday, September 3rd.
• Ready Popped fundraiser ends on Friday, September 5th. 
• Lunch reservations need to be made if you are joining for lunch for last names F-K by Monday, September 8th. You will email dschrimpf@stpeterjc.org
• Early out on Tuesday, September 9th. We will dismiss at 1:15 PM. There is no After Care on early out days. 
• No school on Monday, September 15th. 
• Parent lunch day for last names F-K is on Tuesday, September 16th. 
• We will go to mass for the first time this school year on Wednesday, September 17th. Please try and have your child at school by 7:30 AM. 
• You will need to make lunch reservations for last names L-R by Monday, September 22nd. 
• Our September praise assembly will be Friday, September 26th.

Week 2

We made it through our first full week of preschool! I am so glad to see all of the little ones starting to settle in and drop offs are already getting so much smoother!!

This week, the kids all got a chance to work with me one on one to show me what they know coming into preschool! The students also got a chance to color a page for their preschool portfolio that I will send home at the end of the year. I also got a chance to paint their hands for the August cover of their portfolio! We had our first Fun Friday of the year and had our first P.E. class as a whole preschool. We learned how to stretch, ran out laps and drew in chalk! I hope everyone has a great weekend and I will see you all on Monday! Enjoy the photos from the week!
