Week of May 4th-8th

This week we spent our last full week for the school year playing, learning and having fun with all our friends! On Monday, we made our classroom quilt! I had each kid draw what their favorite memory was and I pieced it together to make one big classroom quilt! On Tuesday, we spent the morning with all you rock star moms! Thank you so much for joining us and having a little fun! I know the little ones loved it and spent the rest of the day talking about it! You moms are super heroes! On Wednesday, we had our s is for slumber party day! We got a chance to watch a movie with Miss Jay's friends! We played in our room and even put our flowers in a vase for Mary outside of Miss Jay's classroom. On Thursday, we did all sorts of T activities! We took a trip to play a trick on Mr. Veit and threw balloons in his office! We tie dyed our handkerchiefs! On Friday, we celebrated as the 8th graders headed to their promotion! We are going to miss Miss Abby, our VSS student, who has spent a lot of time with us this year! To all you amazing moms, have a wonderful Mother’s Day weekend! Enjoy the photos from the week! • The last day for Scrip is Monday May 11th. 
• There is an early out on April 12th. There will be no after school care. 
• Our monthly praise assembly for May will be on Wednesday May 13th. 
• Summer Blast off is Thursday May 14th. An email containing information was sent on Thursday!
• The last day of school is Thursday May 14th.

Week of April 27th-May 1st

Happy May! On Monday, we had a luau party to celebrate our alphabet countdown. We worked on a secret project for Tuesday for mom! On Tuesday, we celebrated music day and made rain sticks! On Wednesday, we made noodle necklaces to celebrate the letter N in our countdown! We also made "Oh The Places You'll Go" hot air balloons with what they wanted to be when they grew up! Check these out during drop off and pick up! They are located on the wall right outside our classroom! Such fun answers for them to look back on when they are older! On Thursday, the kiddos dressed like their future occupations. It was fun to see doctors, famers, athletes and more! I cannot wait to see where these little ones end up in life! We celebrated our April praise assembly. On Friday, we had funFriday! We ate our lunch outside for our alphabet countdown. We got a chance to paint on really big pieces of paper as a group. We also took our last walking field trip of the year to Yoyums! Its hard to believe that we are down to just 9 school days left together for the year! I hope everyone has a great weekend.
