Week of February 28th - March 4th

This week our theme was Dr. Seuss. Our focus of the week was the letter Dd, the number 5, the shape of a rectangle and the color yellow. On Monday, we read "Oh, the Thinks You Can Think!". During center time, we worked on our bingo dobber letter D. I also began report card assessments that we focused on all week! On Tuesday, we read "Oh, The Places You'll Go". During center time, we made hot air balloons with their pictures and what they want to be when they grow up! It was fun to see how some of them have changed what they wanted to be from the beginning of the year. On Wednesday, we read "The Cat in the Hat". Ms. Brittney made a Cat in the Hat cake for us for snack time. During center time I worked with students individually to assess them more! They have grown so much since the beginning of the year! I have loved watching them grow and I cannot believe that we are already entering the fourth quarter! We also celebrated the nice weather with some afternoon popsicles! On Thursday, we read "One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish". During center time, we got to free play while I finished assessments! I am so proud of all of the progress that they have all made throughout this year! They have all worked so hard all year long to grow and learn! On Friday we read "Horton Hears A Who". During center time, we made name Cat in the Hat hats! Keep working on the letters in your child's name at home! Please enjoy the photos from below! I hope everyone has a great weekend and I will see you all on Tuesday!
