Week of November 28th-December 2nd

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving! This week our theme is Jesus is the reason for the season. We focused on the letter Jj, the number 3, the color green and the shape of a heart. On Monday, we read "On This Special Night". During center time, the student started their advent wreath that we will continue to work on until Christmas break as we are celebrating Advent. The students tore purple and yellow paper to fill in our first candle of advent. On Tuesday, we read "Deck the Halls". During center time, the students made the next page of their alphabet book which was J is for jewels! On Wednesday, we read "The Crippled Lamb". During center time, we colored a book called J is for Jesus. We talked about how Jesus was connected to a candy cane. On Thursday, we read "Who is Coming to Our House?". During center time, we made a Jesus in the manger! On Friday, we did P.E. with Ms. Jay's class! Enjoy the photos from the week! I will see you all on Monday!

Important Dates to remember in December

  • December 13th is an early out! There will be no after school care that day!
  • December 16th is an early out to begin Christmas break! There will be no after school care that day.
  • I will be placing a sign up sheet for our week long Christmas snacks that we will be doing the final week before break. I will also be sending out the dress up days that are planned for the final week before break as well!
  • December 16th will also be our Christmas party day.
  • There is no school December 19th-January 2nd.
