Week of April 15-19th

This week we focused on learning about all different weather. We focused on the letter Ww, the number 10, the color black and the shape of a rectangle. On Monday, we read "Once There Was a Rain Drop". During center time, the kiddos worked on writing the letter Ww! They have grown so much with their writing from their pencil grips to actually writing and tracing the letters. On Tuesday, we read "Magic School Bus: Wild Weather". During center time, the kiddos colored a rain boot and then we poured blue paint on half a piece of paper, closed the paper and rubbed the paint around to make a puddle! On Wednesday, we met up with our 8th grade buddies and went to church with the whole school. I am so proud of how well these little ones do at church. On Thursday, we read "One Rainy Day". During center time, the kids worked on writing their names by writing each letter onto one sunbeam to create a sun name! On Friday, we had fun Friday with Ms. Massman's second grade class joining us for a dance battle and playing with the parachute! What a fun week! I hope you enjoy the photos from the week! I will see you all on Monday!
