Week 7

 How have we already reached the end of September? This week we learned all about the color BLUE! On Monday, we made handprint whales! Check these out hanging on our windows! It has been so fun to make these colorful handprints each week! On Tuesday, we colored our blue book. This is something you can read at home with your little one all about things that are the color blue! We practiced our monthly fire drill and the kiddos did great! On Wednesday, we practice our line tracing! For the next couple of weeks we are going to be tracing horizontal lines! This is going to help them learn to begin tracing the letters of their names! On Thursday, the kiddos worked on coloring objects that were blue. We are really focusing on taking our time and staying inside of the lines. On Friday, we did our obstacle course and practiced making a circle and keeping a safe body when we are holding our friends hands to make the circle. t. We also celebrated our monthly praise assembly! Next week will be all about the color PURPLE! I hope everyone has a great weekend. I will see you all on Tuesday! Important events coming up in October:

• Parent lunch day for families with last names L-R will be on Tuesday, October 1st. 
• We will be going to Fischer Farms on Friday, October 4th. If you are planning on joining us and have not let me know please do so as soon as possible so we have an idea on how many adults we will have. 
• Tuesday, October 8th will be a 1:15 dismissal. There will be no after school care that day. 
• Fall cookie dough sale will begin on Friday, October 11th. 
• Donuts with Dad will be in Selinger Gym before school on Friday, October 11th. 
• Picture retake day has been rescheduled for Monday, October 14th. 
• We will be going to church on Wednesday, October 16th. Please try and have your child here by 7:45 am so we are able to go to the bathroom and get ready for church! Thank you!
• Scholastic book orders are due Friday, October 18th.
