This week was all about the shape of an oval. On Monday, we made turkey feathers out of oval shaped toilet paper tubes. We spent the afternoon with Miss Jay's friends painting little pumpkins! On Tuesday, we made pumpkin pie handprints! On Wednesday, we made handprint Pilgrims and Native Americans. We talked about how the next holiday that we will celebrate is Thanksgiving and what that means. These can be seen on the windows hanging outside the office in the big school. On Thursday, we practiced coloring and tracing an oval! I am working with my friends on taking their time and trying their best to stay inside the lines! On Friday, we started a new game in P.E. We worked on sorting colors and being a part of a team! I hope everyone has a great weekend! I will see you all on Monday! Enjoy the photos from the week!
Just a reminder, that as of Monday, November 4th, shorts are no longer allowed until March 10th. Please change your child's spare clothes to their winter clothes as soon as possible!
As the weather has changed and we are wearing more jackets and coats, please work with your little one at home with independently putting on their jacket and zipping it. Independence is a big step of preschool and this helps me a ton when students are working on putting their jackets on by themselves.
Important Dates in November:
- To honor our veterans on Monday, November 11th, please have your child wear red, white or blue!
