Week 23

We made it through a wonderful Catholic Schools Week! We kicked Catholic Schools Week off on Monday with a prayer service with the whole school followed by our glow dance party. In the afternoon, we did a service project with our 8th grade buddies by cleaning the school and making cards for a local nursing home! On Tuesday, we wore our class color of red! We practiced tracing our names and finding the letters in our names! We watched the pep assembly with the big school friends playing minute to win it games! On Wednesday morning, we practiced the right order that the letters of our name go in by gluing popcorn letters to popcorn buckets. We got to see a magician in the afternoon! On Thursday, we watched our 8th grade buddies play the teacher in volleyball! On Friday, we had out mini courses that were taught by each preschool teacher and aide. In our room, we did cookie decorating. Miss Jay did a fun craft that was a baby food luminaire. Miss Harley did beaded necklaces and bracelets. Miss Kaia made slime and Miss Paige did a directed drawing. It was a great week full of celebrating our amazing Catholic school.  Enjoy the photos from the week! I will see you all on Monday! We will be celebrating all things Chiefs next week to help us get ready for the Super Bowl! We will have the following dress up days! Just a reminder that this dress up week is only for preschool. 
Chillin' with Mahomies Monday- Wear all things Patrick Mahomes, 15, headbands and curly hair!
87+13= 100 Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift Tuesday- Dress as either Travis Kelce or Taylor Swift and be ready to celebrate our 100th day of preschool!
Wake Up and Win Wednesday- Wear your pajamas or Chiefs gear.
Tailgate Thursday-Wear your favorite hat, sunglasses, and Chiefs jerseys!
Red Friday-Create a winning game plan and wear your best red outfit!

Important dates in February:

• No school on Monday, February 10th. 
• There is an early out on Tuesday, February 11th with a 1:15 PM dismissal. There will be no after school care on that day. 
• Our Valentine's Day party will be on Friday, February 14th. I will be sending out an email later with a sign up for party snacks and supplies. 
• No school on Monday, February 17th.
• Braided bread fundraiser begins Friday, February 21st.
• Big Bucks is on Friday, February 28th.
