Week 27

We made it through a whole week and with beautiful weather to enjoy! This week we focused on the letter Ii. On Monday, we worked on the letters in their name and focused on trying to stay in the lines when coloring and adding lots of color. Once they colored all of the pieces of their leprechaun, they ordered the letters of their name in the correct order to spell their name. Check these out as they are hanging on our classroom windows. On Tuesday, we painted using a marble to make shamrocks. These will be hanging on our door! I loved how these turned out. On Wednesday, the students finished up their marble paintings for those that were gone on Tuesday! On Thursday, I began assessing for report cards. I am so proud of how far these kiddos have come in the 3 quarters that we have been in school! In the afternoon, we took a walk with Miss Jay's friends to enjoy this beautiful weather we have had this week. I have seen so much growth in all aspects of the classroom! We wrapped up the week with Fun Friday! We took another walk around the Capitol! What a beautiful week we have had! I hope everyone has a great weekend! I will see you all on Monday! Enjoy the photos from the week!

Next week will be a dress up week for Read Across America/Dr. Seuss week!
