Week of January 10th-14th

This week our theme was snow and ice. We focused on the letter Ii, the number 10, the shape of a triangle and the color white. On Monday, we read "Ten Shiny Snowflakes". During center time, we made our paint dobber I to learn how to form the letter I. On Tuesday, we read "The Snow Day". During center time, we practiced writing our names. They are getting good at tracing and some have started writing it without the tracing. Keep practicing writing and tracing names at home! On Wednesday, we read "Sneezy the Snowman". We continued to work on our names by making name snowmen! Check them out to see how big some friend's snowman got! On Thursday, we read "The Smiley Snowman". During center time, we made snowmen out of coffee filters. On Friday,  we even got to watch the new "Paw Patrol Movie" as they have done a great job listening and being flexible with all the changing that have happened this week! We have done a lot of talking this week about germs and covering our coughs and sneezes with all of the sickness going around. Mrs. Garner has placed a preschool registration letter in your child's cubby today. Please read over it and if you have any questions, contact Mrs. Garner. Please enjoy the photos from this week! I will see you all on Tuesday! Enjoy your long weekend!
