Week of April 4th -7th

It is hard to believe that this was our last full week of school before Spring Break! This week our theme was baseball to celebrate opening day of the MLB season! We started the week of with "Make yourself at home Monday" and wore our comfy clothes to school! We read "Pete the Cat: Play Ball". During center time, we used our thumb prints to make the laces of a baseball! On Tuesday, we had class color day and we all wore red! We read "Berenstain Bears: We Love Baseball". During center time, we continued working on our project from yesterday! We made handprint baseball gloves and glued on our fingerprint baseball from yesterday! Check them out as they are hanging on our windows in our classroom! On Wednesday, we had wear a jersey or outfit from your favorite sport or sports team. We read "Good Night Baseball". During center time, we made our very own baseball pennant! On Thursday, we celebrated Opening Day! We wore our Cardinals and Royals gear! We read "Luke Goes to Bat". During center time, we made our own foam fingers! We also got to eat hot dogs in our classroom thanks to Mr. Richard while watching Air Bud: Seventh Inning Fetch. On Friday, we had hat day to wrap up baseball week! We read "Dino-Baseball". During center time, we made thank you cards for Mr. Richard as he took the time out of his day on Thursday to grill hot dogs for us to celebrate opening day! I hope everyone has a great weekend and I will see you all on Monday for a great short week! Enjoy the photos from this week!
