Wow! It is crazy to me that we have already finished 2 and a half months of school and there are only 2 months left in 2022! Time has really been flying by this school year! This week we celebrated Halloween all week long! We focused on the letter Hh, the number 10, the color purple and the shape of a triangle. On Monday, we read "There Was an Old Lady Who Swallowed a Ghost!". We got to parade around the big school to the cafeteria to go trick or treating and then in the gym for all of the big school to see our costumes. We then spent the day having special snacks and playing party games with Ms. Jay's friends! On Tuesday, we read "Halloween Howl". We started our Hh word list for the week. During center time, we made our H is for Halloween page of our alphabet book. On Wednesday, we read "Where's My Mummy?". During center time, we painted by placing our paper into a box and rolling a marble around to make the mummy's bandages. Once it was dry they added the eyes to the mummy. On Thursday, we read "Frankencrayon". During center time, we made paper bag Frankenstein. On Friday, we read " Alphaoops! H is for Halloween!". We went outside and had PE with Ms. Jay's class. I hope everyone enjoys their weekend and I will see you all on Monday! Enjoy the photos from the week!
