Welcome back everyone! I hope everyone has had an amazing start to the new year! It was good to see everyone back! Our theme this week was New Year and we focused on the letter Yy, the number 6, the shape of a rectangle and the color yellow. On Tuesday, we read "T' was the Night Before New Years". During center time, we added to our alphabet book and created our Y is for yarn page. It is amazing to see the book grow from the start of the school year as they have learned so much in the first half of school. On Wednesday, we read "Squirrel's New Year Resolution". During center time, we made handprint fireworks to go along with the New Year poem. On Thursday, we read "P. Bear's New Year's Party". During center time, we made wishing starts to hold all of our wishes for 2023! On Friday, we read "Happy New Year, Pooh!". We had our P.E. Friday with Ms. Jay and Ms. Brittney's friends! We got a chance to run and play all sorts of games with them! During center time, we celebrated Fun Friday and played with the playdoh! I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend! Enjoy the photos from this week!
