This week our theme was Valentine's Day. We focused on the letter Vv, the number 1, the shape of a heart and the color pink. On Monday, we read "Pete the Cat, Valentine's Day is Cool". During center time, we worked on spreading kindness and made Valentines for a local nursing home! On Tuesday, we read "The Love Pug". During center time, the students decorate their Valentine bags. Later that morning, we celebrated our Valentine's Day party and Tristan's birthday! On Wednesday, we spent the day with Ms. Jay's friends as she wasn't feeling well! We made get well cards and spread kindness by going outside and drawing with chalk and writing messages for families to see at pick up! On Thursday, we read "Who Will Be My Valentine This Year?". During center time, we made love bug headbands! On Friday, we helped Ms. Jay practice for her big game that she is playing in against the Harlem Wizards on April 12th at Helias Catholic School. We practice our balance and then shooting free throws! I hope everyone has a great long weekend. I will see you all on Tuesday! Enjoy the photos from the week!
