I have to admit this might be my favorite week we have celebrated yet :) This week our theme was Chiefs Kingdom and we focused on celebrating the Chiefs making the Super Bowl, along with teamwork and sportsmanship. We focused on the letter Kk, the shape of an oval, the number 10, and the colors red and yellow. On Monday, we read "Dino-Football". During center time, we decorated bag that are going to hold some of the items that were donated to give to the Cole County Sheriff's Office and Highway Patrol Troop F. On Tuesday, we read "Good Night Football". During center time, we made "foam" fingers so we are ready to cheer on the Chiefs on Sunday! On Wednesday, we read "T is for Touchdown". During center time, we made handprint arrowheads team signs! On Thursday, we had our tailgate party with Ms. Brittney, Ms. Jay and Mrs. Samantha's friends. We played all sorts of tailgate games, had hot dogs that Andy Reid a.k.a. Mr. Richard made for us, played a game of football and danced to some pump up songs to get ready for the game. On Friday, we read "Miss Nelson Has a Field Day". We went to church and prayed the Rosary for those affected by the earthquakes in Syria and Turkey. We celebrated Grant's birthday! Friday afternoon we watched Chiefs highlights and had a mini Super Bowl party. It has been a fun and exciting week celebrating all things Chiefs and teamwork. Looking forwarding a calmer week next week. :) Enjoy the photos from the week! I will see you all on Monday with a Chiefs win hopefully. :)
