Week of October 2nd-6th

Happy October! This week we focused on learning all about Bats! We learned the letter Ss, the number 6, the shape of a square and the color black. On Monday, we read "Bats". We learned new things about bats! During center time, we worked on tracing lines. This is a great start to helping us learn how to form letters. On Tuesday, we read "Biggety Bat: Chow Down, Biggety!". During center time, I worked one on one with each kiddo to practice tracing the letter S, forming the letter S and identifying the letter S in a group of other letters. On Wednesday, we read "National Geographic: Bats". During center time, we focused on creating an illustration that went along with a sentence starter. On Thursday, we read "Stellaluna". During center time, we made the next page to our ABC book. This was the page S is for stickers. It is awesome to see our book already growing so much in such a short amount of time that we have been in school! On Friday, we celebrated Fun and Fitness Friday! We played with the parachutes, the tunnel and got to free play around the Big Flat! I hope everyone has a great weekend! Enjoy the photos from the week! I will see you all on Monday!
