Week 17

We made it to December! On Monday, we started learning about the letter Aa. We worked on making a list of things that started with the letter Aa. We practiced tracing a capital and lowercase Aa. On Tuesday, we colored gingerbread men to add to our door decoration for Christmas!  I am really trying to work with the kids on staying inside the lines, taking their time and adding lots of color. On Wednesday, we colored ornaments to hang on our Christmas tree to help decorate it! On Thursday, we colored our stockings to help decorate our classroom. I am so proud of how well our concert went with our little friends! They shined so bright for everyone. On Friday, we wrapped up our first week back with Fun and Fitness Friday! We learned a new game in P.E. called clean your room. We left a shoe out in the hallway during nap time and St. Nicholas came left us a candy cane in our shoes!! Just a reminder if you would like to send in an ornament for our Christmas tree you are more than welcome to send them in at any time. I will return them to you on the last day of school before break! 

If you send in your child's $5 gift, please give me a heads up so I do not pull it out in front of the kiddos! Also if you are unable to do so, please let me know so I am able to plan accordingly. 

Just a reminder for anyone who has been reading and logging their books for the 15 and the Mahomies Reading Challenge, this will be due on the last day of school before break (Wednesday, December 15th) so I am able to submit them!

• Wednesday, December 11th- Flannel or Plaid day
• Thursday, December 12th- Green Day
• Friday, December 13th-Hawaiian or Beachy shirts
• Monday, December 16th- Christmas sweater day
• Tuesday, December 17th- Pajama Day
• Wednesday, December 18th- Christmas Shirt or Sweater or Christmas colors day!

 Important dates in December

• Early out on Tuesday, December 10th at 1:15 PM. There is no after school care. 
• Praise assembly for December will be on Tuesday, December 17th. 
• We will be having an early dismissal on Wednesday, December 18th at 1:15 PM for Christmas break. There is no after school care. 
• We will be having our classroom Christmas party on December 18th. A sign up for supplies was sent on Monday! If you missed it I have added b (https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10C0A4EAEAA23A3FBC43-52830164-mrs)
• Christmas break will run from December 19th through January 3rd.
