This week our theme was bats! On Monday, we learned the letter Dd. Each kid got a chance to color a coffee filter and once they finished coloring it we sprayed it with water and watched the colors run and dance! Once they were finished drying, we turned the coffee filter into bat wings! On Tuesday, the kiddos spent the day with Mr. Hubble while I was in a reading training! On Wednesday, we learned the letter Ff. We got a chance to go to see Miss Massman's second grade class and they taught us all about different animal habitats! We even got to ask them questions! On Thursday, we learned the letter Gg. We finished up creating our coffee filter bats that we started on Monday! We also got a chance to get out the bingo dobbers to form the letter G. With the fall weather starting to finally hit, it is important that your child comes to school every day with a sweatshirt or a jacket because we will be going outside even on those chillier mornings!
