Week 10

This week are theme was pumpkins! On Monday, we finished up our first loop through of the letter of the day and learned letter Zz. We started coloring our name pumpkin puzzles. On Tuesday, we started back at letter Aa. The kids got a chance to put together their name puzzles. Check these out as they are hanging on our wall next to our door! On Wednesday, we learned the letter Bb. We went to mass with our 8th grade buddies. On Thursday, we learned the letter Cc. We did our monthly portfolio handprint! I cannot wait for you all to see their portfolios at the end of this school year! We have been gathering projects each month for you to see at the end of the year to see how they are all growing in their learning! In the afternoon, we joined the big school for the living rosary on the big flat. On Friday, we had P.E., where we practiced our tossing vs. throwing of bean bags. We spent the afternoon full of excitement and fun riding the school bus and doing all the fun things at Rhymer's Ridge. Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make today successful and memorable for these little ones! I hope everyone has a great weekend! Enjoy the photos from the week. Important Dates in October

• Parent Teacher Conference sign up forms are due on Monday, October 20th.
• Make lunch reservations for last names S-Z by Monday, October 20th. You can make a reservation by emailing dschrimpf@stpeterjc.org how many parents will be attending. 
• I will be gone for a training on Tuesday, October 21st. 
• Parent teacher conferences will be on Wednesday, October 22 and Thursday, October 23rd. 
• We will dismiss at 1:15 pm on Thursday, October 23rd. 
• No school on Friday, October 24th. 
• Book orders for October are due Friday, October 24th. 
• No school on Monday, October 27th. 
• Parent lunch day S-Z will be on Wednesday, October 29th.
