What a fun week we had! On Monday, we learned the letter Jj. We also celebrated Disney day as a part of our alphabet countdown to summer. I finished up our handprint crafts for grandparents day! On Tuesday, we had our exciting day with grandparents to celebrate our alphabet countdown. It was so great to see all the grandparents and special guests who joined us! It always fills my heart with so much joy to see the connections between the kids and their grandparents! On Wednesday we celebrated our last mass with our 8th grade buddies! We learned the letter Kk. For our alphabet countdown we had our special guest, Miss Mary, come and decorate cookies with us! On Thursday, we blasted off to outer space to celebrate letter G in our alphabet count down for galaxy day! We did different "Space Stations" with Miss Jay's class. We made galaxy bags with Miss Jay, painted the surface of our own planets with water colors and salt to make the texture with me, and painted the galaxy and added sticker stars with Miss Kaia. We watched Magic School Bus to learn more about space! In the afternoon, we got a preview of the 2nd- 4th grade Spring concert. I hope everyone has a great weekend! I will see you all on Tuesday! Enjoy the photos from the week!
