This week our theme was "Snow and Ice". We focused on the letter Ss, the number 8, the shape of an oval and the color white. On Tuesday, we read "Snow Day, Hooray!". During center time, we added the letter S to our alphabet book page, which was S is for straws. On Wednesday, we read "S is for Snowman: God's Wintertime Alphabet". We also got a new friend who joined our class! We were so excited to have a new friend with us! During center time, we build a snowman with the letters of our names! It is fun to see the short snowman compared to the longer snowman! On Thursday, we read "The Night Before the Snow Day". During center time, we made popsicle stick snowflakes! On Friday, we celebrated Fun Friday by having a big dance party with Ms. Jay and Ms. Brittney's friends. We celebrated our whole school monthly praise assembly. Enjoy our photos from the week! I will see you all on Monday!
Please try and encourage your child to keep one stuffed animal at school for the whole week instead of switching them out each day. This helps by avoiding meltdowns at naptime if someone forgets a stuffed animal and helps with keeping things consistent during the week. Thank you so much!
