This week we focused on the theme of Easter. We focused on the letter Ee, the number 8, the shape of an oval and the color white. On Monday, we read "The Story of the Easter Bunny". During center time, the kiddos worked on making their own "stained glass" crosses. They added tissue paper inside the cross and I put it through the laminator to keep all the pieces together! They came out beautifully. On Tuesday, we read "God Bless Our Easter". During center time, the kiddos added our E page to our ABC book, which was E is for eyes, and we realized we only need four more pages to complete the book! These kiddos have worked so hard to learn their alphabet and complete their ABC book. We also watched the talent show in the afternoon, which was exciting to watch. On Wednesday, we read "The Littlest Bunny: An Easter Adventure". During center time, the kiddos worked on a three piece project. First they used the water color paints to a cross. Then they used our paint sticks to pain the paper plate green for the hill. Finally, I traced their hands and helped assembly the project to look like a cross on the hill with rays of light behind it. In the afternoon, we joined the big school in watching the passion play that was put on by Helias. I hope everyone has a wonderful Easter! I will see you all on Tuesday! Enjoy the photos from our short week!
